The working principle of jacquard knitting machine

Jan 11,2024

On a jacquard machine, the pattern board is placed on the flower tube, and for each weave, a pattern board is flipped over. The flower tube is pressed against the horizontal needle once. When there are holes on the pattern board, the head of the horizontal needle extends into the holes on the pattern board and the flower tube, so that the hook end of the straight needle still hangs on the lifting knife. When the lifting knife rises, the straight needle rises along with it, and the main thread hook and thread drive the warp to rise. At this time, the warp thread that enters the warp hole also rises, forming the upper layer of the shed. There is a heald hammer suspended in the lower loop of the heald, which relies on its weight to return the heald when the shed is closed. When there are no perforations on the pattern board, the horizontal needle moves back through the convex head to push the corresponding straight needle, causing the hook end of the straight needle to detach from the lifting knife. Therefore, the warp and warp threads connected to the straight needle do not lift, and the warp thread sinks below, forming the lower layer of the shed. So the movement of each warp thread is determined by the presence or absence of holes on the pattern board, and the holes on the pattern board are rolled according to the design requirements of the pattern and structure. Therefore, the movement of the warp thread also meets the requirements of the pattern and structure.
The process of jacquard weaving originated from the primitive waist machine picking, and during the Han Dynasty, this technique was already used in oblique and horizontal weaving machines. The flower patterned jacquard machine appeared in the Eastern Han Dynasty, also known as the Flower Tower. It is a representative of the highest achievement in ancient weaving technology in China. Jacquard machines were later introduced to the West through the Silk Road, providing inspiration for the invention of program control and storage technology in the development of modern electronic computers.
Operating procedures:
1. When repairing, you must first press the left and right red stop buttons to indicate that the machine is undergoing repair.
2. It is strictly prohibited to cross the guardrail, and be careful when going up and down stairs. Be careful not to slip or fall.
3. It is strictly prohibited to remove the cross bars of the corrugated board crossing the bridge, hang them on the ground of the gantry without permission, and roll them off, which may harm equipment and vehicle blocking workers.
4. Do not place tools randomly to prevent accidents caused by falling or falling during operation.
5. When the safety barrier is moved due to maintenance needs, it should be promptly restored and returned to its original position after the maintenance is completed.
6. After maintenance, the machine should be started up and operated slowly for at least 2 seconds. Only after confirming normal operation can the machine be operated quickly. The quality of the fabric should be confirmed to be normal, and the equipment should be operated normally before leaving the maintenance machine.
